Become a Detector Dog Handler
Titan Detection offers a training program for individuals wishing to become detector dog handlers. The Titan Detection certification includes the fundamental notions required by Transport Canada under the federal Trained Explosives Detection Dog and Handler Program (EDDHT).
The Titan Detection training spans over a minimum of 12 weeks. It is divided into two distinct sections, namely the obedience and agility section, then the detection section.
Admission Requirements
- Success of a psychosocial assessment of the applicant. We demand professionalism, humility and respect for individuals.
- A security clearance for the applicant and those around him.
- The absence of a criminal record is mandatory.
